happy spring equinox!

The spring equinox is the first day of spring and a celebration of balance between day and night.  The Egyptians built the Great Sphinx so that it points directly toward the rising Sun on the day of the spring equinox.  The VK Isis Collection will be online this week!  Celebrate this season of spring with jewelry inspired by the Egyptian goddess of nature and magic.

I never cease to be inspired by nature.  When I discovered the artist Andy Goldsworthy I was in awe of  the way he honors nature's forms and builds around them.  His documentary "Rivers and Streams" is a peek into his creative process and his philosophy on art.
